Peekaboo Dress for Miss A

I made this dress about a year ago but it has been ‘on loan’ for craft shows etc. My intention was for it to be Miss A’s first birthday dress. It was so wonderful to have it back safe that I took a few pictures, thanking my fate that it wasn’t lost in transit before I had the chance.

It was made from one of my favourite fabrics, purchased a couple of years ago at Funky Fabrix. A high quality cotton imported from Japan. I still have a little bit left, saved for pockets and little details here and there. I had used some for ruffles in bloomers using material from Bari J.

If I ever see it again I will buy a bolt. Every single dot is a perfect colour (and once again my photos do not do it justice). All pink pettiskirt for the dress. I’m sure she will love it. Can’t wait to see her running (well tottering) in it next year.
